OBC and TA

I booked with TA and he gave me some OBC. Am I supposed to see this in my vacation summary or e-docs?

Mine was on my account once I was onboard. There was a card in my cabin that listed the amount.

Sometimes it never shows up. Either because the TA waits until very close to the cruise date to order the OBC for you, or because they arrange it in some other way that doesn't get displayed in your Vacation Summary.

 

You can always ask the TA why you're not seeing it, but if they tell you that's normal given the way they do things, you'll just have to trust them. If OBC doesn't show up after a couple of days on board, bring your documentation from the TA to the front desk and ask them to look into it.

It depends on the TA. Usually you won't see it show up until at least final payment, but you may never see it until you board. There should be a card in your stateroom when you board.

There will or should be a card in your state room showing OBC from TA. You will also see it on your account on your TV

Make sure you take something with you that shows the amount you are to get. NCL made a mistake once on mine and if I did not have the documentation, I would not have gotten the OBC.

Thanks to all....

 

I spoke to the TA, and was told that I should NOT be seeing it on the e-docs.

 

I printed out the e-mail from the TA, stating that I get OBC!

I'm boarding the Gem for two weeks in October, have my EDoc's, and most of my OBC still hasen't showed up on my Vacation Summary, or my reservation confirmation.:rolleyes: I have all my Amenity Confirmation emails copied, as well as copies of emails between myself and my PCC regarding OBC. I'm prepared to duke it out with the front desk when I board, if necessary. NCL's accounting system for OBC seems to be a mystery to them as well as its' customers.:eek:
