misslucy01 Posted August 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2016 Doing the 7 day Bermuda voyage on The Ecstasy out of Charleston on November 5th. Never been to Bermuda nor have we ever stayed in the same port for 3 nights. Would greatly appreciate any and all advice to make this cruise as memorable as possible, especially help with the must take excursions. Thank you fellow Cruise Critic Members!! blueshine Posted August 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2016 We were there in May and the only excursion we booked was the Hidden Gem tour. It was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the cave swimming, swimming in the blue hole, lighthouse tour, nice lunch and beach time. Google for their website. We took the beach shuttle from the ship to Horseshoe Bay and walked to Warwick Long, Jobson's Cove, and back again. Very picturesque.

The tour that Blueshine described sounds like fun, but otherwise I would say that there is nothing on the island that requires an excursion. Research the island to find out what's there and what you're interested in then plan out your time there. The public transportation on the island is extremely good and reliable, so you could use that to get around the island. We have been 3 times, twice we rented a moped for the 2 of us and this last time we used public transportation. Personally, I like the moped method, but it's not for everyone. My husband has been driving a motorcycle for 50 years so he didn't have to worry about operating the moped and could concentrate on driving on the opposite side of the road. CruiseBride926 Posted August 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2016 I forget the name but we did a catamaran and snorkel excursion. The two guys that ran it were wonderful and so funny. Not to mention free wifi on the catamaran haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
