swodog94 Posted September 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2016 So I know that there is probably not anywhere to buy real, authentic cuban cigars in Freeport but I have to ask anyway: has anyone who has recently traveled to Freeport found anyplace that sells legit cuban cigars? [Note: I know where to buy them in Nassau - I'm not going there, so pls don't say "Well, in Nassau...].
jimmymed3 Posted September 7, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2016 Gotta ask. Where do you buy them in Nassau? It's the stop on our first day, and pretty much need to have a Cohiba. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Lol Sent from my iPhone using Forums There's a cigar shop in the shops by the casino at Atlantis. It's not a La Casa De Habanos, but it's legit. I bought a box of Cohibas there in 2013...very expensive! But at least you know they're authentic. There used to be a walk-in humidor in the John Bull department store is Nassau and I bought some sticks there in 2004, but it was gone in 2013. If you're not interested in paying over-inflated prices for Cubans at Atlantis, take a walk over to the cigar factory at the Gray Cliff Hotel. They rollers there are Cuban immigrants and their cigars are very reasonably priced, good quality and smoke well. Pair them with something from the Watlings Rum Distillery, which is not very far from Gray Cliff. Edited September 7, 2016 by swodog94

thespiritmovesme Posted September 25, 2016 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2016 Anyone know if they still do lunch? Love me a good cigar after a nice leisurely meal and a drink-or two!
