lilaclabrador Posted September 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2016 Hi. We're joining the TA/Caribbean on 21/10 on Britannia. We have booked a place on the Courtesy Coach from Gatwick to Southampton and it says 3rd Departure on the booking. Can anyone give me around ideal of what time that will be? lynne2801 Posted February 8, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Hi Lilaclabrador, Have just stumbled across your post. What time does the courtesy coach leave Gatwick? We are thinking about doing this in October on one of the TA/Caribbean cruises.
FAB1 Posted February 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Hi. We're joining the TA/Caribbean on 21/10 on Britannia. We have booked a place on the Courtesy Coach from Gatwick to Southampton and it says 3rd Departure on the booking. Can anyone give me around ideal of what time that will be? We did the courtesy coach from Manchester Airport and despite the fact we were booked on the 1st coach out, when we arrived there was no system in place and people were merely boarded in order of arrival. We had to stand in a long queue and watch others board our coach and leave before us. What I am trying to say is I don't think it matters what coach they say you are on or what time it is supposed to leave, I would just get there at the earliest time possible. lilaclabrador Posted February 8, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Hi Lynne We didn't take the coach in the end, stayed overnight in Southampton instead. Sorry I can't help.
lynne2801 Posted February 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Thank you both. We were thinking about flying into Gatwick from Edinburgh on the day the cruise departs from Southampton so it would be really handy to know the timing so that we can book flights. I will contact P&O for the info.
BrianI Posted February 9, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Would it not be easier to fly to Southampton? Brian
lynne2801 Posted February 10, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Would it not be easier to fly to Southampton?Brian We are looking at one of the re positioning cruises that sail out of Southampton and flies us back from Barbados into Gatwick, so a return flight Edin - Gatwick would be easier to book.
