Sheraton FLL Airport Update

Just called the hotel. They are closed at the moment and will re-open 11/2/05. They are accepting new reservations for after the 2nd and are confirmed the reservations that exist. They assured me we would have no problem while staying there 11/11/05.

what ship are you going on may I ask? We're on the Caribbean Princess again. I can't wait, but I do need to brace myself to see all that damage from Wilma, we don't get much of that weather up north here in RI!

Andi, We are going on the Holland America Zuiderdam, hope that we have great weather and yes, I think that we will see some prominent Hurricane Wilma damage in FLL. lss

You really won't see that much damage in the downtown Fort Lauderdale, and airport/port area... Just some cosmetic damage, broken signs, windows, shredded awnings and tree damage. Things are pretty well back to normal now and the repairs have already begun.
