cydspal Posted May 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2004 I tried to use the search on this board, but it would not work...and I know this has been addressed about a zillion times, but...we leave in a week: Is the key to get on board and make reservations for the entire week in each of the dining rooms? What time is good to make the early show? Can you eat only twice in each room? Can you get anything for regular dining in the PC rooms? What is the down side of PC dining? Thanks!! It is key if you don't want to have to work at it later in the week. We alternated and then repeated cycling through the ones we thought we would like. What time is good to make the early show? Early show is usually 8:30, we made rezzies, for 5:30 and had 30 minutes to get there early or stroll the deck, table of 6 takes longer to eat than a table for 2 usually. Can you eat only twice in each room? You can eat all your meals in one or split in between 2 rooms or what ever/ no restrictions. Can you get anything for regular dining in the PC rooms? The regular menu is offered each night in the PC rooms, in addition to the PC menu for that room. What is the down side of PC dining? People like traditional, it is heresy to promote PC in some places, it takes more to understand PC dining, you don't get the same waiter and tablemates which some people prefer. Thanks!!

Life is at it's best when your address floats Alaska Diamond Princess 05/04 ~~ Mercury 06/02 Rhapsody o.t. yancycruiser Posted May 19, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Hello again SRPHNX, I was going to ask you this on the other post, however, since the subject is this post - here goes. I plan to make a reservation for ten immediately after boarding, is it best to do it by phone or go directly to an area that handles this? The diagram of the four PC restaurants appears to show one table of ten in each one. Thanks. yanceycruiser Carnival Pride Feb 03 Grand Princess Jan 01 RCL Enchantment of the Seas Jan 99 NCL Norway Jan 97 NCL Dream Jan 95 Sapphire Princess 8/22/
srphnx Posted May 19, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Hey Yancey, You really only have the option to do it on the phone, if you go to the DR they will hand you the phone to call concierge. There is only one table for 10, I don't know if they will let you book it for the whole week but you can try, let me know. We got on at 1 pm last time got our rezzies for the week easily but were NOT the first to make them.
