SuiteCruising Posted May 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2004 Does anyone know the square footage of the AA Suites on the Sun Class ships. They seem to vary depending if they are on Aloha, Caribe or Dolphin deck. Thanks for your help. Bob
westerdam42 Posted May 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2004 Someone please correct me if i am wrong, but I read on a previous post that the AA's on the Baja deck are 512 sq ft. I don't know about the other ones. I do know there are only 6 or 8 AA's on the Sun. 3/9/05 Eastern Caribbean Sun Princess
Robroy Posted May 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2004 The AB aft mini's are +/- 512 sq ft on the Sun and I think the AA's (six) are about double that size. Lots of space for a party but for only two people you might get lost in there... karfest Posted May 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2004 We were in C749 (caribe) on the Dawn. While I can't give you square footage, I can tell you we had 16 people in there for a cocktail party and between the expansive balcony and the living area we were not cramped at all! The bathroom is bigger than the whole room we had on our first cruise. There were just 2 of us and we had plenty of space to get away from each other! The balcony was partially covered so we were able to catch the sun out there, but also had nice shade when it got too hot. Very private for morning breakfast or whatever you plan to do. I have pictures and at some point will get them to a webshots site. Any other questions, let me know. Karen
SuiteCruising Posted May 18, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 18, 2004 Thanks for your replies. We've been in an aft AB mini and it was incredible. Just trying to decide if the AA is worth the extra cost. Karen, would love to see your photos of the AA. Bob
mrtractor Posted May 18, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2004 WOW!~ I just want pictures of "what ever you want to do" on the balcony! karfest Posted May 19, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 19, 2004 MrT lives!! How'd you get over on this board? Looking for another cruise porn site? I believe you are the king of "other" activities on the balcony I will get pictures posted as soon as my husband either does it for me or shows me how. I know how to type and that's about it. Bob- After peeking in at the mini-suite next door and checking the cost difference, I would stick with the mini. I really liked our suite but there was just not enough extra to justify the cost. Now if they want to upgrade me-- I would take it in a heartbeat! mringenoldus Posted May 19, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 19, 2004 We've just returned from the AA Caribe 746 on the Sun Princess. It is a perfect cabin. Beautiful wood, lots of marble, tons of drawer space, and a huge walk in closet. We were the envy of my relatives. If you ever have the chance - go for it. There are only 6 of these on the Dawn/Sun. The amenities are a lot of fun also. CCL Holiday 2000 CCL Elation 2001 CCL Pride 2002 CCL Ecstacy 2003 RCL AOS 2003 Sun Princess May 14 2004!! Golden Princess 10-2004!!!
