We will be staying at margaritaville before our cruise for two evenings and I was wondering if there was any stores within walking distance to pick up sodas and such...we will not have a car..

First...What is your date?

The Hollywood Water Taxi stops across the street at 5:00 Somewhere and eventually travels through Port Everglades where you can transfer to the Ft Lauderdale Water Taxi. This opens a whole world of opportunities and entertainment beyond the Hollywood Broadwalk. If you are cruising before the end of October 31 then the link below will get you a buy 1 get 1 free on tickets. Even if you have to pay full price it's worth the price for the value you will get from it if you use it all day long and into the evening.

Other than Joe's Market...

...there's not much within walking distance unless you want to walk about 2 1/2 miles to the south where there is a Walmart Supercenter. You'll also find a Publix and a Winn Dixie nearby.

Getting up and down A1A is pretty simple if you study the public transit maps. There's the Hollywood Trolley...

And then there is Route 4 on the Broward Bus System...

Do your homework in advance and you will be fine.

What does the OP's date have to due with places close to the resort?

Well, if you have to ask...Their payment for their room will be "due" on that date.

The date he is there will determine whether they can get half price Water Taxi tickets.
