janecambridge Posted September 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2016 As a fairly urgent question to all Brits who have flown to or from Lima or Papeete, what airlines and where do they stop on the way? Thank you.
Riocca Posted September 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) For Lima take a look at Iberia as they link into some of the South American Airlines such as TAM & LAN, flights would be via Madrid. As for Papeete we flew from there on Air Tahiti Nui (think I've spelt it right) to LAX and then back to the UK on BA. Hope that helps. LaCroisiereS'amuse Posted September 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2016 For Papeete you can fly from Los Angeles (BA, American, Virgin etc. from London to LAX) on either Air France or Air Tahiti Nui, both airlines flights operate from Paris to Los Angeles and on to Papeete. Lima is served by BA from Gatwick but not daily. Iberia via Madrid is an easy option (have connected several times from BA to Iberia long haul several times and the transfer is painless)....They have improved a great deal, particularly in Business. janecambridge Posted September 29, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted September 29, 2016 (edited) Thank you. There is a direct flight now to Lima from Heathrow with BA.Hoping that continues into 2018. Working on return to Heathrow from Papeete.. Air credit from Oceania if we choose to do our own flights is only £1340 per person.Dont think this will cover the cost.
