Applying a gift card..what am I doing wrong?

I have 2 gift cards I want to put towards my balance but not quite pay off. I enter the number and pin and then Apply to Total and nothing happens.. so I go down and hit submit and get errors for not entering a cc number. What am I doing wrong?

Do you need to pick a "payment type"?

So, often when I lose my keys and I finally give up looking and call my dad over to help me and ALWAYS when he is on his way over I find them. As luck would have it after trying for three nights in a row I finally ask for help and I go back and try once more and it works.

 

I wasn't selecting a total amount.. I'd enter the card and it would give the balance and I'd click Apply To Total but without the total amount up top it wouldn't process.
