Cruisfan Posted October 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2016 I'm doing an Avalon wine cruise at the end of the month. Just wondering what the weather might be like in Cannes when we disembark on Nov 6th as we are spending an extra day there. Cruisfan
garycarla Posted October 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) As always, I suggest checking a much more accurate source. http://www.weather.com http://www.wunderground.com You can see historical weather, forecast, etc. As you get closer, the forecast becomes more accurate. flynnsky Posted October 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Cruisfan ,are you staying at the Carlton International in Cannes. We took the Avalon Cannes to Paris in June and that is where we started. Cheers Dan
Cruisfan Posted October 3, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Thank you for your reply. I did check that website and it shows that, historically, it is around 15 to 20 C. .......I guess that is not beach weather. Yes we will be at the Carlton Intercontinental. What did you think of it as far as it's location and nearby food? I'm looking forward to it. Cruisfan.

flynnsky Posted October 3, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 3, 2016 We loved the Carlton International, we added a day to get to see a little bit of Cannes. Its location is superb, the beach and the promenade La Croisette is a few steps from the hotel , you can just sit and watch the world go by if you wish. A few moments walk to the left as you come out of the hotel is a restaurant called Le Vesuvio, we went there both nights because the food was spectacular and so much fun. The highlight of the stay in Cannes was a train trip(train station is a ten minute walk) to the medieval village of EZE, we had a great day there. Have a great cruise. I was aware that EZE was a village and hope to get there on the second day of our stay in Cannes. Cruisfan
