Any Info - Ocean Park Aquarium?

Our ship stops in Barbados in Jan. I just saw they have a new aquarium. We are thinking of taking a taxi and spending an afternoon their.

 

Has anyone been to the Aquarium? Is it worth it? Any tips.

 

We also stop a Curacao a few days later and I see they also have an aquarium. I am curious how they compare.

It's been a few years since I visited the aquarium in Curacao, but only a few months since seeing the one in Barbados. It's new, the Barbados one, and not fully operational, but they are trying hard to get it up to snuff. The exhibits are small, but they do have local sealife in all or most of the tanks on site. It does have a "new" feel to it, so don't expect much but I think it's worth it.
