cleacat Posted May 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2004 My daughter wants to go to the alternate restaurant for her birthday, I was just wondering if they would give her a cake. Has anyone been there when someone celebrated a birthday? Katie's had every birthday on a ship and we have a photo of her getting her cake and don't want to miss this year. Toto2Kansas Posted May 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2004 Just make sure to alert them when you make the reservation. This past April we celebrated hubbys birthday with a group of 8 and they brought out a huge fresh strawberry shortcake birthday cake with candels and every waiter in the restaurant came over to sing. It was wonderful. Tahitian Princess 10/14/04 RCI-Legend of the Seas 3/27/05 Panama Canal. One Phantom Booking still open with Princess.

christiansmom Posted May 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2004 I would vote for Sabatini's. I like the atmosphere better (Sterling's is right out in the open) and the food, in my opinion, is much better. We really weren't very impressed with Sterling's but I am sure there are others that feel differently. I just think the whole experience is more conducive to a celebration. All the best!
