Rare insidecabin Posted October 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2016 See NCL have fixed the workaround to the .com redirect to .co.uk using "/vacations" and now redirect to https://www.ncl.com/uk/en/vacations and now redirect .co.uk to https://www.ncl.com/uk/en/ When did this change to the web happen? any new workaround to getting US pricing other than going to Ta's
Rare insidecabin Posted October 5, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted October 5, 2016 this site https://www.ncl.com/uk/en/ is a bit of a mess. broken links and info that is not UK specific or applies to the UK.

hawkeyetlse Posted October 5, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) Here in France the redirection started about a month ago. Every page either redirects to the corresponding French site (with different content, e.g. promos and pricing), or a translation of the US page. Or it just redirects to nothing in many cases. I appreciate that they must have put a lot of effort into translating all these pages into French, but they should really have gotten someone who actually knows French to do it… :p As SadmanCruiser suggested, you can use a VPN to get around the location restrictions, although they could start denying traffic to proxies that they identify as problematic. Rare insidecabin Posted October 5, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted October 5, 2016 Part of the problem is there are links to stuff that do not apply to UK, $50 deposits, US travel insurance, then there is the stuff that is missing. Chances are there will be stuff that breaks UK advertising regulations. at least they got the prices to include taxes, that was one of the bigger problems other lines had. probably poorly specified and rushed on the cheap.
