Read the article, very interesting, but have 2 questions concerning the penultimate paragraph which reads: Twelve extra cruise ships are to call on St George each year from 2017 to 2022 as part of a deal between the Bermuda Government and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

What NCL cruise ship(s) are these, new builds?

Would this also include docking in Hamilton?

Anybody?

Oceania and Regent, both owned by NCL. They both have small ships that can go thru the cut. Fares are high on those lines. I think some will include calling in Hamilton. Some of their itineraries are long ones that would not be called Bermuda cruises but cruises that have Bermuda as one port.

  • 2 weeks later...

So it looks like Bermuda will have 11 more cruise ship calls next year, but because many are from smaller ships, they will have approximately the same amount of passengers arriving. Contract calls are down by 10, I think. But lots more calls at Hamilton and St. George's.
