ABoatNerd Posted October 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2016 Greetings Oceania experts: Our household has not sailed with Oceania before so we have no information on cabins. I believe there is no cabin "sticky" available. We have a courtesy hold on Marina cabin 8075 - mid ship Question - Are there any noise issues pertaining to this cabin? Like many, we worry about a housekeeping room opposite etc. I trust the cabin is enough forward to avoid issues related to engine and funnel noise. We note that on deck 7 below, the cabins directly below do not have balconies. Is the lack of balconies indicative of mechanical equipment for the lifeboats also directly below on deck 6? Due to medication - I am very noise sensitive so cabin selection is so verrrry important. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Supply closets are located regularly along the accomodation corridors, as are garage alcoves for the service carts. Really no way to avoid them, but the staff on Oceania are professional and quiet. The lifeboat davits are entirely self contained on Deck 6. The Oceanview cabins on Deck 7 are not a part of that equation.
