Raxter54 Posted October 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2016 HAd a cruiser on the Breeze report on a Galveston cruise FB page that the Breeze will be back in Galveston tonight around 11:30 PM due to a medical emergency. Has anyone else heard about this?

euphscott Posted October 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Midway through our last sea day (Saturday) we were informed a fellow passenger needed medical care and that we would be heading towards Galveston early. We arrived around 11:00 or so and docked overnight. None of us were allowed off the ship until Sunday morning, following the normal disembarkation procedures. Rumors floated the nature of the evacuation, but I won't get into that as I have no first hand knowledge. Our passage was not at all uncomfortable with the increased speed and it felt odd to be docked overnight but staying on the ship. Here's hoping the needed medical care was received and the man or woman (I guess I am assuming at that - or child!) is well on his or her way to recovery. LadyBeBop Posted October 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Here's hoping the passenger is on the way to a full recovery. I have a question. Just wondering how Cheers worked the last few hours when the ship was already in Galvaston. I'm sure the bars/nightclubs would still be open. Yet Cheers was never allowed the first day on a Galvaston cruise. I'm also assuming any liquor sold needed the Texas stamp on the bottle.
