View from Emerald Deck Mini-Suite on Diamond Princess

Hello

My wife and I will be staying in a mini-suite on the Sapphire Princess on the Emerald Deck next month. My question is to anyone who has stayed in a similar cabin on the Diamond Princess. Since the lifeboats are on the same deck, do they obstruct your view of the forward of the ship? The reason I ask is because last year we were in the first cabin on the Voyager of the Seas, and I thought it was really neat being able to look backwards to see the whole enormous ship behind us. Will I be able to do the same (looking forward of course this time), or do the lifeboats make it so you can't see the rest of the ship from the balcony.

Thanks

Steve

We stayed in Diamond Princess E711 and I was concerned about this too.

The tenders are recessed and therefore do not protrude outward on the side of the ship. They are under the Dolphin mini balconies. The view from Emerald mini balconies is totally unobstructed.
