Gran Canaria

We are on the Spirit on 4/11/16 from Teneriffe First port of call is Gran Canaria. Was thinking of spending day at beach in Maspolomas. Can anyone tell me how far it is from port to bus station and how long is the jounney ? Thanks

I don't know the timings but the bus station is about 3 miles away and Maspolomas about 30 miles.

 

The is a long beach and promenade in the town , just a few hundred yards from where the ship docks.

Hello livingston. As Dave has said, Maspolomas is about 30 miles away. You may be able to get a local bus depending on times. If you want to make sure you don't miss the ships departure, i believe the ships excursions may offer a day at Maspolomas beach, at least the ship we sailed on did. Hope this helps. Happy cruising. :)
