Car rental

As I understand it ..it is a 40 minute or more drive from the port to Rum point. The boards say a taxi would be very expensive.

They suggest a rental from the local AVIS rental agency. Known as CICO Avis. http://www.aviscayman.com should get you there.

We are cruising in December and I emailed them yesterday. Got my confirmation today. They do not send you a confirmation as you might expect. Mine was a 1 liner. Just said PT cruiser and gave the confim #.

The boards say they will not charge your credit card until you get there and get your car. They have all sorts of vehicles and large suburban type things I have heard. My daughters love the PT Cruisers so my husband decided to forgo the Jeep.

As for car seats, you will have to ask them either by phone or email. My experience with other places ...you will probably have to ask for one. I don't think they have the same regulations as we do. However it is a branch of AVIS so ...maybe
