Allure - Shows vs. Late Dining....Advice?

We are sailing on the Allure. Only late dining was available w/o being wait listed and the shows have not opened for reservations yet. Looking at some

previous schedules it seems they often conflict with the MDR times. Am I correct that even with show reservations it is best to line up 30+ minutes prior to shows? Is that for all shows?

If late dining is at 8:30 we could schedule:

Day 3.....Mama Mia 5pm (the first two showings would not work)

Day 1 or 2.....Ocean Aria 10:45pm

All Days.....Comedy shows have late times

Day 6.......Blue Planet 10:30pm

Any advice or suggestions would be great. I guess we could easily plan to dine in a specialty restaurant or the Windjammer if we wanted to make a specific show that conflicted with the MDR times.

Thanks
