kah1829 Posted November 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Sorry for asking this again but nobody replied a while ago so thought I would give it another shot. Anyone have menus for the 8 day southern Sunshine cruise? We are going Dec 31 and wondering which night to book the steakhouse. Thank you! hasher Posted November 8, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2016 You can not see the actual menu but every day they will display the menu outside of the restaurant to view --- it is just a walk there --- you will not be disappointed and I cruised October 28,2017 8 days, the first elegant elegant night, lobster was on the menu (no charge) -- there are two elegant nights --- as you register on line--look for the special foods section--example you tell them what you can not eat --special diets--I hope this goes my response goes to you --
hasher Posted November 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2016 Make your reservations ASAP--the Steakhouse is booked fills fast--- do not go on elegant night because there is a lobster night free of charge on 1 of 2 elegant --- ask carnival front desk or call when is elegant night---- $35 dollars gets you 1 appetizer (shrimp cocktail--huge shrimp)---1 choice of entree/ steak (cowboy AKA ribeye) is out of this world--I was told by cruisers---choice of 2 sides --1 dessert--- he said better than RUTH CHRIS -- hope this helps --ALOHA FROM HAWAII

Its a true 9 oz perfectly flavored and cooked delight. As for avoiding elgant night, they tend to be scheduled on sea days or when you depart earliest from a port of call. And they generally will not be the last sea day, unless there is some special holiday and they are adjusting the schedule.
