NCL Ship is only on Tortola until 1--Baths?

Our NCL ship is only on Tortola until 1. We would like to go to the Baths again. Normally, we avoid ship excursions, but the private ferry schedule seems incompatible with reboarding by 1 and we do not have enough people for a charter.

 

Is there any good alternative to--or feedback on--the ship's excursion?

Seriously (and I avoid ships' excursions too) this is one case where I would definitely take one - it's just too tight to do otherwise.
