qanderson Posted November 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Has anyone ever used the stay and cruise package through the Newark best western? It includes transportation to and from the cruise terminal and then parking is 8 dollars a day. We'll be there for a 12 night southern Caribbean in February 2017. I have noticed some comments that it's not a great area to leave a car? Can anyone elaborate on what kind of area they have for parking ? Approx how long does it take to get to the cruise port with the shuttle? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

shippmates Posted November 13, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2016 We have stayed at the Best Western in Newark. We also had the park & cruise so took the shuttle to the ship. I want to say it took maybe 15- 20 minutes depending on traffic. Our rate included the 14 days of parking. We did not book this via the hotel but used Trinity Reservations. The hotel also has a shuttle that will take you to NYC for the day. When we used that September 2015 the cost was $25.00 per person. That was a great way to get to the city and start your vacation a day early.
