To answer your question about Emerald Lake, yes we did get to see it but it wasn't a scheduled stop. We asked our driver if we could please make a side trip there and she did. It was lovely. It is a mere 5-7 minutes up the road from Caribou Crossing, so I don't understand why it isn't included on the tour - but again once we mentioned it to Melissa - she found the time to stop and see it. Another thing, our tour was the WPRR up to Fraser, BC and a transfer to the bus for the Yukon. I understand that some people had the bus tour all the way to Caribou Crossing and then were taken to the train in Fraser and returned to Skagway via the train. That might make a difference as far as scheduling an extra stop as they have to make sure people don't miss the train back. I have some pictures of the tour. Click on the link in my signature.
