Going on this cruise in February. Can anyone tell me if I need Ineed to purchase the currency for each currency or is the euro, $, or even sterling widely accepted? Also, on first evening after boarding, is it easy to take taxi to go to a shopping mall etc?

Local currency is best, didn't see anybody accepting western money when was out there earlier in the year.

 

Taxi's readily available from the cruise terminal in Dubai and all over the city for the return including from the malls.

 

Muscat was our favourite place, absolutely stunning and the people in Oman were so friendly.

So is it best to get currency for Oman, Jordan, and Dirhams for Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we are on Arabian Odyssey

Yeah local currency for each place, which can be a pain when visiting two or three places over the course of a trip. But found a bit of forward planning as to what we wanted to do in each port helped us gauge amounts to take, also booked as much as possible online before departure which reduced amount of cash needed.

looking at this cruise with a veiw to cruise and stay as anyone done this cruise if so is it better to have alinclusive or bed and breakfast and which hoel would you recomend thankks:D:D:D:D
