Cabin choice on the Queen Vic?

We are travelling for the first time on Cunard in February next year. We have just been given the cabin 4:149. I always worry about noisy cabins, and as this one is above the promenade deck and beside the lifts, I'm thinking of asking for it to be changed.Does anyone have any information on this cabin, or one nearby?

Hi we have had stateroom 4165 on the QV and 4156,4167 & 4174 on the QE.

We have never had any problem with noise from the the promenade deck below or the lifts.

 

Indeed they are very handy for the Britannia Restaurant on decks 2 or 3 and the Lido self service on deck 9.

Have just been near the lifts on the trip i got back from last week. You cannot hear the lifts at all in the cabins.
