I love my Champagne and OJ too .... mimosas are great!

Other than that, it's ......

Vodka and orange juice

Vodka and tonic

Vodka and cranberry juice (I take the little bottles of cran to mix)

Vodka and whatever punch is at the buffet line

If you happen to like Dirty Martinis, Vodka and olive juice.

Cheers!

Then we use Roses lime for Gimlets, club soda and lime for highballs and nothing for martinis. Always take some soda when leaving from Florida (driving) and tip steward at the start to be sure there's extra ice in room at 4pm. Sometimes I'll pick up something else at the ports to bring to cabin.

coconut rum with fruit punch from the buffet line. Coincidentally, since coconut rum is clear, it packs well in water bottles and easliy passes through security:) No flames please, my sign and sail gets a hefty workout in the evenings as it is too much trouble to run back to the room when I am busy dancing!

Gosh I love that Captain Morgan fellow, he's such the party animal!

I have to second the captain morgans but i also brought mini bottles of Irish Creme and that was great in the after dinner coffee. Last cruise it got to be customary that i would go aroung after coffee was served and tip a little into all of the cups. I will defenitely bring that again

Hi all,

It is my understanding you cannot have liquor in your cabin....am I right or wrong? We are cruisingng on Navagator of the Sea. I have noticed some said you could take it in your carry on in water bottles if the booze was clear...that would be vodka, gin, coconut rum? so how do you handle having other drinks in the cabin? Interested in wine, beer? Not that we are big drinkers but do like a night- cap on special ocassions and this would be one.

A great way to end the day with a drink in my PJ's on the balcony. so how do you handle bringing on asti, baileys etc? Also, I drink 2 glasses of tonic water a day for leg cramps can I bring that on ....can I buy it on ship? I would appreciate any and all help with this.

If we buy any alcohol in port I just send it through the bag check and head to my room...I don't stop to get it checked. I "pretend" I don't hear them when theyy say to stop at the desk to get it stowed in luggage or pay any "corkage fees"!!

Worked for me!

If you want to bring on something that isn't clear, like Coconut Rum, pour it into a 20 oz plastic bottle of something like Lipton Iced Tea with Lemon. Or a larger plastic bottle of Snapple Iced Tea. In other words, find a beverage that comes in a plastic bottle that matches the color of your booze! Easy!

Wine and beer can be carried on. You don't need to smuggle them.

Stoli's for me, packed in a water bottle. Seagram's 7 for him, packed in an ice tea bottle. Diet Coke as a mixer for me, 7-Up for him. Love a little Bailey's in the coffee on the balcony every AM - gotta figure out how to disguise that, lol;) .

Only one problem with the disguises - don't take a big gulp from the bottle in the middle of the night!

Even gonna improve the coffee by bringing my own French Press & ordering hot water from room service, but that's another thread  .
