WeeCountyMan Posted December 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2016 There's a large number of people carrier and taxi excursions as you disembark - plenty on offer at reasonable prices. They'll take you up to where the Barbary apes hang out (they are not monkeys) and other tourist attractions. The apes will grab anything (literally) that is not fastened down - ladies handbags and shopping carrier bags are among their favourite targets, especially if they reckon food is on free offer. WeeCountyMan Posted December 3, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2016 Can't mind the precise cost of the people carrier we took, however it was reasonable compared to the ship's offerings. They drive the vehicles up to the apes - if you DIY, the cable car is the only alternative, that adds to the costs, and there are often queues - you can walk up, but it's a fair hike, and you may encounter the apes who can be "difficult", especially mothers with young. Best take the people carrier - the driver/guides are very knowledgable.
