Drink package

Was told by one of the bar managers manning a table no loyalty discount was being offered.

Price for Deluxe is $58 a day, unsure if it will go up on the next sailing.

Cruise Planner prices: $46 (12/11) and $48 (12/18) after the 20% discount was factored in. Add to thoses prices the 18% for gratuity.

Have a great cruise! Curious as to why you got the drink package with D+ perks plus access to the SL? More variety?

Exactly, drink what I want, where I want, and when I want.

Also add: How much I want!

Can't wait to read all your information. We are on board in March in a GS & curious about all the perks. We usually don't do the drink pkg. will we be able to get beers all day in lounge & also cokes in cans? I'll be reading every word!!

Thanks so much for the wonderful info!! Just saved my son approximately $80 on the soda pkg. we are also Diamond Plus & my son will have his on the next cruise. See you are in 660 as we are on deck 11 to be near friends in a Central Park balcony. We are hopeful we will be able to get them into Coastal Kitchen 1 or 2 times.

Some tidbits so far...

Windjammer was seating folks when entering.

Coastal Kitchen was doing a served lunch. On the lounge side was a small buffet setup.

Nothing in the Diamond & + letter that mentions a discount on the drink package.

Didn't happen to see Paella in Windjammer, did have it in the Suite Lounge.

Joys of misleading information...

Was just told at another bar that Diamonds and above do get the discount. Just isn't loaded yet.

In my case it would have been 16 cents more. I was able to purchase it when it had a legit 30% off.

Love the high res photos, and small details like pillow menu and food/beverage items =) Coke zero is the best!

Thanks!

This really isn't a formal review per say.

More categorized as Twitterish postings.

Also love giving little nudges towards controversial topics; hence the pillow menu.

I'll give criticism where needed but I'm an easy going person.

Like righy now...

The Moscow Mule from the champagne bar had a touch too much lime juice.

Love that they use just giner, lime, and vodka with sweetener being optional.

Added

Keep in mind, drinks up to $13 are covered by the Deluxe package. Anything over pays the difference and the 18% gratuity on that difference.

Mainly it done so that poster gets the options to subscribe to the thread. That way that get emails of new posts or daily summaries to email. Also shows up on their control panel.
