Our son, DIL and 2 boys stayed in C315 which is on the other side and a bit further forward.

Your cabin is the last DB grade before they move up to DA grade, so you got a good deal there. It will be about equidistant between the forward and midships lifts, but the midships does not have a staircase, only lifts on passenger decks.

Anything else you would like to know?

We stayed in a superior deluxe cabin on Britannia last December on B deck. The extra space and full bathroom was great.

You are quite near the front lifts and stairs so as suggested use these as there arent passenger stairs midship so the lifts often arrive already full.

Thank you that's great

What did you think to Britannia as a whole , this cruise is a special one as we will be away for our 25th wedding anniversary and I was going to book a spa day, book into one of the restaurants etc.

Any advice would be great

We really liked Britannia but saying that we havent disliked any ship we have been on. Some people think it is too big but we didnt find it much larger than Azura.

The only thing we werent too happy with was the very close proximity of the sunbeds on deck but if you have a good walk about you can usually find some not packed like sardines.

The buffet is by far the largest on any of P&O ships and unlike the others no shortage of seating.

Our favourite bar on the ship was the Crows Nest bar which we visited most evenings.

We ate in Sindhu a couple of times and really enjoyed thd meal and was worth the supplement.

For a 25th anniversary, I recommend eating in The Epicurean. The food, service and general ambience is excellent.

We were on Britannia a week ago and found the Epicurean very disappointing, the service was first class but the food was poor. Their operate two menus which alternate every 4 days, both have extremely limited choice - check which menu before you book better still avoid.

Many people we spoke to were of similar opinion, the restaurant was empty most of the time whilst the Sindhu and Beach House were the opposite, always very busy

We like Indian food but found Sindhu was far too bland for us, we tried it on both Azura and Britannia but it just was not to our taste. However they do exceedingly good curries in the buffet on Indian or Far Eastern theme nights, and we have enjoyed this far more than both our Sindhu offerings.

Typical British Indian food revolves around chicken, lamb or prawns whilst Sindhu food is far more exciting. You can try lobster, cod, bass, beef as well as the traditional choices.

The food is far from bland, the starter course we chose allowed us to have 3 small portions of lamb, chicken and beef each with a higher degree of spice which enabled us to advise the best level of spice to suit our palette for the main course.

We went back to the restaurant on 2 further occasions during our two week cruise, superb.
