Themed nights on Jewel to E. Carib.

We're going on our first NCL cruise in January. On our previous cruises, I've not encountered any themed nights that I read so much about on these boards. What themes might we encounter on the Jewel? I'm wondering what to pack so we can participate. I saw one mention of western night on one post. How do you go western without wearing jeans?

Since the Jewel is on her first eastern itinerary of the year it is difficult to answer your question..

As a rule on most NCL ships you will have a 50/60s night, Caribbean night, and a 70/80s night. No need to dress up but be prepared for the twist contest, the crowning of a new Elvis, and passengers as the ever popular Village People.
