Question about televisions in suite

Just off the Explorer. Liked it well enough but was disappointed with the location of the television. In our G suite it was at the foot of the bed so it was impossible to watch it from anywhere but in bed. Uncomfortable if you want to watch a bit of news in the middle of the day and absolutely impossible to watch without disturbing your partner if he/she is sleeping. Can anyone tell me if the other Regent ships are now placing their televisions in this same position post refurbishing? I'm referring to suites lower than penthouse on the other three ships.

Montour70 - We have just returned a week ago from 20 days in a standard cabin on the post-refurb Voyager. The new large flat screen television is mounted on the wall above the desk in the seating area of the cabin, directly across from the sofa. Although we did not close the curtains dividing the sitting area from the sleeping area, they appear to be made to be closed if one wishes to do so, with a runner along the top. If you have any others questions regarding the "new" Voyager, feel free to ask them. Cheers, Fred

Montour,

We are currently on Voyager in a Penthouse A. The TV is in the living area, but on the wall left of the couch (as you sit on the couch) above the cabinet containing the glassware. It pulls out and turns either towards the couch or the sleeping area.

There is, indeed, a curtain that you can pull around the sleeping area to divide the room in half.

We have the bed separated into 2 twins, and if you are in the bed closest to the bathroom wall, you can not see the entire TV screen. If the beds are together (as one bed), it is not a problem.

Thank you, Jean.

I'm glad my frustration didn't get the better of me.

Thank you, Bill.

Just the information I was looking for. For me it makes more sense to have the television in the living area. I was concerned that Regent had started mounting the television on the bedroom wall during refurbishment. Not necessarily a deal breaker just not desirable. Hope you are having a wonderful cruise.
