Honeymoon on Splendour of The Seas

I've been reading that people say you can tell the people on the ship that you are on your honeymoon and you will get a few 'perks'. I was wondering, do you let RCI know this before you arrive, or just tell someone when you get on the ship?

I think beforehand will get the cabin 'decorated' a bit.....or that was the way it was on Princess. Our TA knew and made sure that the cruise line knew. I suppose if you aren't using a TA you could let RCCL's rep that you've dealt with know that you will be celebrating onboard. Of course we got married on embarkation day so it was no secret......maybe there is someone else who has strictly honeymooned onboard and not married that can speak better to this?
