We will be visiting Itea, as part of a eastern Mediterranean cruise this August.

We have never visited Itea before and would like any information on what we can do there.

We arrive at 08:00 and depart at 18:00 so we have plenty time in port.

How easy is it to get to Delphi from Itea.

Would be easy to use public transport, our visit will be on a Sunday.

Are there any nice beaches close to port ?

And could anyone recommend a nice restaurant serving local food.

Thank you for any information.

Best way for go to Delphi is a taxi. Last year cost ~60 euro per taxi (max 4 passengers) for round trip (the taxi waiting for 3 hour in Delphi for your tour).

There is and a local bus but I don't know if your time plan match their departs times (you must get the 10:45 bus to Delphi).

Itea has a lot beaches... the most popular beach is "Miami beach" (yes, you reading right:)) where you can find many taverns with fish/sea food.
