As I have no idea what 8.50 Australian dollars is in GB pounds I can't really comment.

 

I am just telling you in comparison say to hotel prices here in the UK the prices on board are fairly reasonable.

 

Of course here in the UK we have to import your Australian wine which tends to bump up the price to us here. Maybe you should bring a case with you to keep you going ;) !!!!

I have been looking at the comparitive sizes of the Aurora, Oriana and Oceana.

I am very surprised to see that Aurora, rated at 76000 tons carrying 2000 passengers, has only 417 crew.

Oriana rated at only 69000 with 1800 passengers has 760 crew.

Oceana rated at 77000 with 2015 passengers has a wopping 875 crew.

Does anyone know why Aurora only has half the crew as Oceana and is virtually the same size?

According to the 2006 brochure Aurora has 850 crew!!! I don't know where you read she only has 417!!!!!????

Reading inaccurate junk in reviews. I now have one that says 940 crew.

I think you can find a different figure on virtually everything.

Now don't be sarcastic ;) !! I didn't want you to think that Aurora had a skeleton crew!! Especially on a world cruise. These reviews that you read tend to be like newspapers. Not always sure what to believe!!!!! Have you been on Aurora before??
