I have the app downloaded on my iPhone 6S, but when and where do you pay the $5 fee to be able to chat with your cabinmate? I understand that the cabinmate has to have the app and pay the fee as well, just didn't know if you could pay for it online before the cruise or do you have to wait til you are on board?

 

Every thing I've read tells me that once on board you sign in with your folio number, so is that when you purchase the $5 fee and it automatically goes on your account? Any advise would be welcome.

I think you are correct-do it on board. That's the way it worked for us last year on Princess, and I am so glad we had it.

Yes, it's all done online when you're on-board. Very easy to see the package options and signup. It bills directly to your Sail & Sign account.
