Dawn Venetian Artwork

We just got off the Dawn, and we thought the artwork in the Venetian was odd. It looked like the original artwork was painted over (including the frame!). Does anyone know when this was completed (like during the most recent dry dock?). Any interesting information would be appreciated!

Yes, it was added during the recent dry dock. We thought it was fun, but from what I've read opinions vary quite a bit on this.

Yes, added during the last drydock and hated by many. At every single Q&A during our 14-day cruise, a complaint about the art in the Venetian was always the first comment to the hotel director!

It was done during the Dry Dock in May 2016. What gets us, on Our cruise to Bermuda last October everyone hated it. NCL actually paid someone to do that. Another bone headed idea was to take the piano and shove it in the back corner of Gatsby's out of view from the staircase and the upper deck of deck 7. The poor guy got shoved between the access door and the bar trash.

I found the artwork on the Dawn to be odd. Even in our cabin.

A lot of people, including me, think it's really awful. I'd love to see the interior of the home of the person who chose it.............
