Walking to marina from Intl'l pier

I tried a search, but couldn't find anything. We're cruising in March on Royal Caribbean to Cozumel and have booked a snorkeling excursion leaving from the Fonatur Marina. Google maps says its only .7 miles away walking. Has anyone walked this? It looks like it might be a busy road? Everyone has suggested a taxi, including the tour operator, but we have a smaller child with us and their parents are reluctant to take a taxi without a car seat.

If you are arriving to International Pier, the walk is around 20 - 30 min, no shade. I really recommend you to take a taxi, it's only a 5-7 min ride. Try to open the link attached for Google Maps
