Got back this past Sunday from the January 8th Splendor cruise. These are just some random thoughts and not a full review. If anyone has any questions I'll do my best to answer.

We had FTTF and priority boarding through a premiere casino offer. Got to the port a little after 10. The machines were broke by security so had to go up and do a normal check in (besides getting sign n sail cards) with picture. It went pretty quick. We were on the ship at about 11:30. Room was ready and sail n sign cards were in mail slot. Luggage got to room a little later.

Our room was 8394 and it was a nice size.

Never met my room steward until the last cruise day to tip him. We got twice a day service and he did a great job keeping the room tidy and making sure we had fresh towels.

I did not do the MDR this cruise so can't really comment on that. Did do the brunch though and it was very good. Room service for breakfast was also very good. Did the steakhouse last night of the cruise and it was excellent as always.

I spent a good amount of time in the casino for the premiere drawings and stuff so didn't really have a lot of time for other things like comedy shows, etc.

The movies I can remember were Deepwater Horizon, Suicide Squad, Jason Bourne, Central Intelligence and Bad Moms. I'm sure there were others that I don't recall.

As far as the cruise, the weather could of been better but other than that we had no issues really. We did miss Grand Cayman because of the wind and rough sea's.

We did use the Carnival HUB app. It worked just ok as far as the texting. Sometimes it wouldn't send and other times it would but the other person never got it. I did like having the FUN Times on there to see what's happening.

Bad sea days huh ? Here's hoping your blessed with sunshine on your next cruise :)

Thanks! Miami was in the 40's the day we left. That was ok though. Spent afternoon in sports bar watching NFL playoffs. Some on and off rain but did get a few days of sun.
