GoGiantsfan11 Posted January 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2017 Will be on Freedom of the Seas the first week of July. Will have my 4 kids ages 17-24 and my parents who are active 70 year olds. Any thoughts on what we should do at each stop. Thanks.
luvtheships Posted January 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2017 With 8 of you seriously look into private full day tours. That's what we did with the 6 of us and we saw soooo much!!! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
luvtheships Posted January 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2017 There is a Russian onion dome cathedral (a la st basils) in nice your driver can take you to. I like off the beaten track stuff and I recall it's the only onion dome Russian cathedral outside of Russia Sent from my iPhone using Forums
sloane ranger Posted January 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2017 We went to Aix en Provence and Cassis for the day. As it was market day, our guide took us for a sampling tour at the market in the morning. we then headed to Cassis where we went for a short boat ride along the coast to admire the famous cliffs. - your children would probably enjoy that but it depends on the day of the week We were there on a Thursday which is a market day in Aix en Provence.Best is to contact Nancy who arranged the tour for us. She can perhaps have other suggestions for tours that would interest your family. She also arranged our Nice shore excursion, We decided to do the Riviera tour which took us for a stop in historical Nice and then along the coast all the way to Monaco stopping in Eze at the perfume factory. She had sent us other proposals but unfortunately Ihaven't saved the emails.
stefanny28 Posted January 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2017 (edited) We were in Villefranche and Marseilles July 2014 and July 2015. We booked both year with Provence Connection. The first year, we went to Cassis. We formed a group of 5 wiith 2 other people from our roll call. The 2nd year, we went to Monaco and Villa Ephrussi Rothschild. Beautiful place with lots of photos op. The company is very reliable. Very quick with their reply too. I would use them again if we ever come back.
