Atlantis Submarines

Hi,

I know this is a long shot but I'll ask.

 

We will be able to do the Atlantis submarine excursion at any of their three locations. Has anyone done more than one of them and are you able to choose one over the other(s)?

 

Does the newer (premium) sub at Waikiki make a difference with real seats and larger viewing ports?

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We only did the one in waikiki and back in 2012. so can't help you. We probably wouldn't do another one at another location, but that's us.

You can do the Atlantis submarine when the ship is at Kona. The office where you check in is right across the road from the Kona pier where the tender boats arrive and depart from. The shuttle boat to the submarine leaves from Kona pier for a short five minute ride to the sub. The ship offers this as a shore excursion but is a lot more expensive than booking it yourself. I have only been on the sub in Kona so don't know about those.
