Website pricing vs TA

I just received pricing from my TA for cruises to Bermuda. Usually her prices are better but I'm checking and it appears to be cheaper directly on The website

Is this the norm now?

No her price should be the same or cheaper. Call her and tell her about the price your a seeing and make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. Booking direct should never be cheaper as long as she doesn't have a service charge. It should be the same or if she has a group rate, lower at the travel agency.

Your TA should be able to match the price and may offer an additional amenity.

Best price you will get is using Ebates along with a third party website like Travelocity. Right now the Ebates rebate is 7% for Travelocity.
