Whether you mean the Canarian island of La Palma or Palma the capital of the island of Mallorca it should be warm enough for swimming in mid-June.

Agree with LondonTowner, yet some Northerners (Scandinavian, Scottish... and yes, Geordies too!) say the water temperature in the Mediterranean is just perfect in May, boy I find it crazy, LOL!

LOL!... I was thinking more "northeners" as European Northerners, you know, the viking-type, hahaha!

 

70s is what we have as air temperature in April/May. Most locals prefer to wait until the sea temperature reaches 73-74 or so, which happens in mid June. Right now though, air temperature is in the low 40s so I can only imagine how cold must the sea be! :)
