LondonTowner Posted January 24, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2017 In late June yes, but early June water will be chilly.
EnricM Posted January 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Agree with LondonTowner, yet some Northerners (Scandinavian, Scottish... and yes, Geordies too!) say the water temperature in the Mediterranean is just perfect in May, boy I find it crazy, LOL! pso418 Posted January 26, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Thanks we are northerners and think 70's is nice. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
EnricM Posted January 26, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2017 LOL!... I was thinking more "northeners" as European Northerners, you know, the viking-type, hahaha! 70s is what we have as air temperature in April/May. Most locals prefer to wait until the sea temperature reaches 73-74 or so, which happens in mid June. Right now though, air temperature is in the low 40s so I can only imagine how cold must the sea be! :)
