alleycat11481 Posted January 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2017 I can't find the option to choose a check in time. When I preview my documents it says my check in time is 12:30-3:00 PM. Anyone else having check in time issues? I thought maybe it is because the cruise isn't until December 9th, but others have said they were able to choose a check in time a year in advance. artymis77 Posted January 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2017 My staggered check in for the Triumph did not show up until my cruise was paid in full. Then it gave me the option to choose my check in time. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Inkah Posted January 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Mine is paid already and still not showing up for me to pick my own time frame.
alleycat11481 Posted January 25, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Mine is paid already and still not showing up for me to pick my own time frame. Yeah, I'm not sure why it isn't showing up. We might do FTTF anyway, but I'm still wondering why it isn't showing up to choose a staggered check in time. Twintowngirl Posted January 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2017 I think it varies from ship to ship ( or maybe port to port!)....My check in time for the Vista didn't show up until a few months prior to the cruise. I just checked periodically and one day it was there. Now, being platinum the check in time isn't all that important in that we can go as soon as the port is open and ready. Freckle53 Posted January 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2017 We originally booked the Victory out of Miami and then a couple weeks later decided on the Triumph out of New Orleans, for the same date (Triumph is one day longer). I was allowed to pick our check in time on the Victory but it still doesn't show for the Triumph. This cruise is August 28th and neither was/is paid in full. It must depend on the ship/port. easyboy Posted January 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Mine is paid already and still not showing up for me to pick my own time frame. Quite disappointing. Just have to keep on checking.
RuffRuffPup Posted January 26, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Hi, newbie here! I also was unable to choose a check in time for the Triumph, July 13th. We decided to go with FTTF.
maldenmusic Posted January 26, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 26, 2017 When we cruised on Triumph July 2016 I was given the option of picking a check in time as soon as we booked.

alleycat11481 Posted February 4, 2017 Author #14 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Still nothing here as well. We are also sailing 12/09/2017. We are most likely going to go with FTTF.
cindy19812009@yahoo.com Posted February 5, 2017 #15 Share Posted February 5, 2017 I wish they would hurry up. I am also thinking of getting FTTF. Thanks for all your replies.
hawkinsh Posted February 6, 2017 #16 Share Posted February 6, 2017 I am not sure about something. I was able to pick our check in time online, but I was not sure if check in was the same as boarding. does my time mean I will be able to check in at 11:30 then board, or will we have to sit around and wait? Wondering if FTTF would be worth the extra expense on two cabins.
Freckle53 Posted February 6, 2017 #17 Share Posted February 6, 2017 It is a check in time, not a boarding time.
hawkinsh Posted February 6, 2017 #18 Share Posted February 6, 2017 It is a check in time, not a boarding time. What is boarding time? I have 3 little ones who will not want to wait house to get on the ship.
nwo4life Posted February 6, 2017 #19 Share Posted February 6, 2017 What is boarding time? I have 3 little ones who will not want to wait house to get on the ship. In NOLA, we have experienced boarding beginning around 11:45, but could be delayed for any reason. Wedding parties will board first followed by Diamond, Platinum, FTTF, then they will start boarding by zone number. If you don't want to wait long to board after checking in, arriving around 1:00 is a good option. By then all the early check ins will have boarded and you can most likely board as soon as you checkin. All cabins will be accessible as well. Shirleyfam8477 Posted March 14, 2017 #21 Share Posted March 14, 2017 We are sailing from the Triumph on August 28th, 17 (40th bday) and we do not have choices of times. I will be checking in late due to wanting to spend the day in the French Quarter! So 2 or 3 check in for us! :D
