bringing soda on board

Ok...so I know the answer for alcohol...but what about soda?

 

Can you bring cans of soda on board? DH and I were thinking about brining a 12 pack of Diet Coke.

We have brought 2 12 packs of Diet Coke on the last few cruises......

We just carry them on board, no one said anything at all.

No one will say anything because Carnival allows a 'reasonable amount' to be brought on board. You can put them in your carry-on luggage or just carry them on in your hands. Unless there is an excessive amount, no prob.

I usually bring a 12 pack or two and wind up having to buy more in port, (in Puerta vallerta I bought 10 2-litre bottles and wound up giving 7 away duh what was I thinking!!!

We've heard of people slapping luggage tags on a case and sending it on it's way! We just brought a six-pack of the 16 oz bottles. I will probably bring 2 six-packs on my next cruise! :)

We fill a soft side rolling cooler [dry] with soda and water. Tag it and give it to the porter. Room steward will ice it down for you.

 

You could carry it on, but why?
