Marriott Question.

We have rewards points and can stay at any of the Marriott chain hotels pre-cruise in FLL. We are also driving, and will be parking at the port, so shuttle is not an issue. We like to stay on the beach, but close to the port. Can you recommend which hotel you would use: there are so many between courtyards, Renaissance, Spring Hill Suites, etc.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on the beach in December, very nice. Bubba Gump right in front of the hotel. Also Beachplace Towers, a Marriott Vacation Club Resort just up from the Courtyard.

We stayed at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa, beautiful and it's own private beach area.

Another vote for Marriott Harbor Beach Resort.

Thanks. We went with Marriott Harbor. It was only 5,000 points more and we could get an ocean view. Thanks for the recommendation!
