What is the final answer on bug spray? If you are going to a beach club do you need to bring spray or is the beach already sprayed for sand fleas?

 

Also, do you need an special vaccinations to go to Roatan? Someone at work told me we would but I've never heard of such.

No special shots needed. As for sand fleas and mosquitos, bring spray. I never seen sand fleas there but they have been knows to make their presence. They come and go... so never know. That goes for any beach in the world.

Bring the bug spray!!!! I have been eaten alive by sand fleas at various spots in Roatan. They itch like no tomorrow. I no longer go out on the beach there without bug spray.

 

As for shots or other medications, I would check with your physician or the CDC website.
