Port of Houston hotel??

Is there a hotel near the port of Houston with shuttle service to the cruise ships and/or to Hobby airport?

The "Port of Houston" cruise terminal is located in LaPorte Texas which is east of Houston. It is located in an industrial area and there are no hotels immediate to the terminal. There is a La Quinta located at the corner of Fairmont Pkwy and State 146, which is about a mile or so from the terminal. I doubt if there is any type of shuttle service to the terminal from Hobby.

 

Deer Park, Texas which is about 7 miles from the terminal has several new motels located on Center St, not far from Highway 225 which will take you to LaPorte.

Swissmax - listed below are the 4 hotel choices in La Porte closest to the port. I believe the Comfort Suites and La Quinta offer some type of shuttle to the port, but call of them to verify. As for transportation to Hobby, you're on your own with that, so I would recommend either taxi or some type of independent shuttle service.
